Conveniently located in heart of Pittsburgh's Penn Avenue Arts District, Dance Alloy Theater has open studio space to fit your needs! Our state-of-the-art facilities are available for: classes auditions and special rehearsals informal performances and events private parties children's birthday parties (instructor fee not included) photo and video shoots All studios are equipped with suspended floors and high quality sound systems. There is a first floor lobby area suitable for use as a waiting area, a catered or informal reception, or registration area. A kitchenette is available, equipped with refrigerator, sink, serving area, and microwave. Convenient free on-street parking is available. STUDIO SPACE Dance Alloy Theater has two studio spaces: Main Floor Studio is 36.5' X 47.5' This studio is two stories high, with a Marley covered sprung floor, a masked cross over area, access to main hallway, and an ideal space for projection use. This large studio is ideal for rehearsals, classes, performances, special parties and events. This studio accommodates risers and chairs that comfortably seat up to 60 and can be arranged according to your needs. Upstairs Studio is 36.5' x 37.5' This studio has one wall of mirrors and a sprung wooden floor. This light and airy studio is ideal for rehearsals, classes, intimate presentations, and private parties. All studios have suspended wood floors Contain state-of-the-art sound equipment to accommodate CD's and cassettes Contain VHS play-back equipment Have access to separate men's and women's dressing rooms, bathrooms and showers Have access to waiting areas RENTAL RATES The rates range from: $12 to $30 per hour during regular studio hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm) $20 to $125 per hour after regular hours and on weekends Rates are based on specific use.
