Dedicated to bringing movement and dance to students enrolled in Pittsburgh Public Schools, Dance Alloy Theater reaches over 5,000 annually, targeting at-risk school-aged children in the surrounding neighborhood as the core population for its outreach programming. Additionally, physically and developmentally challenged students are also engaged through local organizations including the Children's Institute and Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children.

Dedicated to bringing dance into the public school curriculum, Dance Alloy Theater's ongoing partnerships place the company and teaching artists in-residence with schools that educate school-aged children in the surrounding East End neighborhoods. At the core population for its programming, Dance Alloy Theater "partners" with Linden, Fulton, and Dilworth Academies, and various others throughout the Pittsburgh Public Schools working intensely with 350+ elementary students annually.

Middle and high school students who are considering a career in dance, or who have just made a personal commitment to keeping dance as a central activity in their lives, are also a propelling force in the organization's outreach work. Working with Rogers Creative and Performing Arts Middle School and Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) High School, Dance Alloy Theater is able to bring professional quality classes and performances to more serious performing arts students. These students often engage in master classes taught by Artistic Director Beth Corning, company members, and the company's nationally and internationally renowned guest artists.

Residencies, lecture/demonstrations and master classes are conducted in public schools, colleges and universities, community centers, senior citizen organizations, community organizations, and at specially organized events throughout the region, nationally and internationally.
