DANCE ALLOY THEATER is a chamber group of seasoned performing artists, whose background and training (in both ballet and modern dance, combined with theatrical coaching) allows them to meet both the technical and theatrical demands of the diverse repertory the company presents.
The company is on contract between September to June, with health benefits, daily company class, and an onsite masseuse. The company performs two main stage home seasons a year at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, in the East End and The New Hazlett Theater on the Northside, as well as local festivals and events, including Pittsburgh's FIRST NIGHT and THREE RIVERS ARTS FESTIVAL, as well as touring regionally, nationally and internationally.
