Auditions Those interested in auditioning are urged to take at least one week of the Summer Intensive Workshop, OR Company Class. The company is an intimate group of 5-6 dancers, technical and performance abilities are only a portion of the considerations taken when hiring dancers. Dance Alloy Theater looks for performers with a strong background in classical ballet and modern techniques, extensive partnering experience, as well as an aptitude for theatrical work including improvisational skills, singing, and acting. The company occasionally hires Apprentices (salaried) and one Dancer-In-Training (non-salaried) per contract period. Occasionally an open audition is held.
